BML Istisharat ICBS Core Banking System Goes Live with BSN

BSN Malaysia, serving over 14 million customer accounts and with 400 branches, went live with ICBS Core Banking System solution from BML Istisharat.

 

BSN offers a full gamut of conventional and Islamic banking services through its extensive network of branches and over 5,000 branchless banking agents connected to ICBS and spread all over Malaysia.

 

After launching in production ICBS Lending Solution in 2016, BSN moved this September 2018 into production with ICBS’ full core modules, including deposits and payments serving more than 14 million customers’ accounts through ICBS branch operation modules and a full range of integrated Digital Delivery Channels: Banking Agents, Internet Banking, SMS Banking and Self Service Terminals (ATM, CDM & VTM).

 

Thanks to the determination of BSN stakeholders and the joint efforts of the BSN project team and users, Heitech Padu Berhad and BML Istisharat, the ICBS Core Banking System with its high scalability, availability and integration capabilities is now fully in production supporting a wide range of products in compliance with international standards and the local specificities and regulations.

 

BSN platform consists of Oracle RDBMS deployed on IBM LinuxONE servers, Oracle Fusion middleware on IBM AIX Power Servers, and IBM ESB platform integrating BSN digital channels.
